This Broccoli Rabe Instant Pot recipe is one of our favorites. With a total cook time of less than twenty minutes, you can have a large batch of broccoli rabe ready to serve, store or freeze for your next meal. One bunch of broccoli rabe can easily serve four to six people. When we make Instant Pot broccoli rabe, we’ll sometimes make two batches. It leads to a little extra cook time, but the prep work is almost identical whether you are steaming on bunch or two.
Steamed Broccoli Rabe
One of the most underrated features of the Instant Pot is the steam basket. It is perfect for broccoli, carrots, shrimp and other types of shellfish. When sauteing broccoli rabe it can be time consuming, cumbersome and tough to get it cooked just right. By steaming broccoli rabe in the instant pot, it takes the guess work out, and leaves you with a great side dish, or even a great topping on pork loin sandwich.
