How to Be a Successful Teenager

by admin

I’m confident that many of us, as adults, would change our educational or professional paths if we could go back in time. As you can see, while some of us are Natural Entrepreneurs, the rest of us have to start from scratch. However, the success of your child’s profession is significantly less important to the Department of Education than the completion of high school.

While it’s understandable that not everyone is cut out for entrepreneurship, other people are simply glued to the lifestyle. Simply put, it isn’t intended for everyone because we are all individual. However, regardless of a person’s path in life, I think there are some essential entrepreneurial development skills that everyone can benefit from. As you are probably aware, it is preferable to begin as soon as possible when putting success patterns and directions into practice.

I’ve put together a few straightforward yet powerful strategies to encourage your teenagers to comprehend fundamental business philosophy.

FIRST HOBBY ANALYSIS
Every educational opportunity you share with a youngster begins with a straightforward dialogue. Our objective in the hobby analysis is to dissect your teen’s preferred hobby. We’re going to shift their perspective from “tunnel vision” to “peripheral” on that pastime. Visualizing the landscape of all the moving pieces involved in their interest is necessary. You want to talk to your teen about the several services that go into making just one action, as well as the fundamentals of how everything functions. Better sensory awareness for business and economics will result from this, and it may also lead to the emergence of fresh motivational interests for your adolescent.

Here’s an illustration;

Let’s examine a teen who spends a lot of time gaming.

Let’s use a single game as an illustration.

-How does their preferred game generate revenue? Is it free and does it rely on advertisement revenue? Is a subscription required?

-Practice simple math with them. If one million people play this game and each spends about $50, that comes to about $50 million.

-How much will it cost?

-Is the gaming console obligated to pay royalties to the game, or is it the other way around?

-How much tax income will be forwarded to the I.R.S. How much cash remains?

What do you estimate to be the size of this gaming company’s workforce?

Let’s make an educated guess as to how much money will be needed to hire everyone.

-Insurances?

What do video game designers earn? Is it a lucrative profession? What qualifications are needed to become a game designer?

Who prints each Compact Disc, exactly?

Which retailers offer this game?

-How much money does selling this game make each store? As a result, the profit margin is reduced.

-How much money does this business invest in advertising each year?

Which promotional strategies do they employ? Which do you believe to be more efficient?

You must now understand my position. Simply put, we’re dissecting every facet of this one game. They will see how the company’s objective is REVENUE and how services and costs are distributed among that revenue.

In addition to demonstrating a fundamental procedure for something as straightforward as a game, we also provide them with access to other things that your adolescent may find interesting. Perhaps they came to appreciate the craft of game marketing. There are countless options. However, you will broaden their perspective and comprehension.

  1. RENDERING OF BOOKS
I am a strong supporter of literacy. I think that society and our peers pay close attention to our reading and writing skills since it gives them an idea of our degree of knowledge. An F-grade student can become an A-grade professional by learning effective writing techniques. Fake it until you make it, as they say.

Readers will be more likely to think highly of you or your analytical abilities if they believe you to be a literary expert in your reports, letters, and emails. To succeed in this world, one needs to write well.

Great vocabulary goes hand in hand with great writing. You had better sound smart if you want other people to think you’re smart. It’s beneficial to know a variety of intellectual-type vocabulary in addition to good grammar.

What’s the most effective technique to achieve this? SIMPLE!

Grab a dictionary, then begin reading. Yes, it is actually that easy. As a result, set aside 30 minutes or so per day to peruse the dictionary. In order to easily recall those words in the future, we want to transfer them from our working memory to our long-term memory. The key is repetition!

We’ll then need to polish our writing abilities. This one can be more difficult, but if you keep to the fundamentals, it’s actually fairly easy.

We must first imitate other accomplished writers. How are they writing? What verbiage do they employ? The most crucial questions are HOW and WHERE they transition between their sections.

Simply reading other people’s articles will help you develop your own writing style. The key is repetition!

We must now refine each component, just like with anything else. Writing something down and reading it five to ten times is the greatest method to accomplish this. In most cases, at least one word or letter will need to be replaced. You only need to read each sentence and consider, “Can I make this sound better?”

Do it if you can!

Repeat after me: Repeat after me!

  1. EXAMINATION OF ARGUMENTS
Next, we’ll discuss Argument Examination, which focuses more on Perceptual Awareness and Conflict Resolution than it does on arguments.

Although disagreements are unavoidable, how you view them and handle them is up to you.

  1. Let’s begin by searching for a straightforward debate on television or the internet. A fast YouTube search will immediately turn up a few videos that can be used for this activity.
  2. Have your adolescent watch the video.
  3. Find out which side of the debate they think is correct, then inquire as to why.
  4. Ask them to now characterize one of the participants in the dispute.

Let’s pose inquiries like;

Why are they defending that stance?

What kind of mood do they have?

Did the person experience any notable events that day?

Do they currently have any problems at home or with their family?

What kind of family did they grow up in?

Of course, your child won’t be familiar with all of these responses, but our goal is for them to AT LEAST CONSIDER the questions before drawing a decision.

  1. Have the second individual complete Step 4 again.
  2. Next, have your adolescent explain BOTH sides as if they were contesting the issue in court. What is their justification? What defenses do they offer?
  3. After debating both viewpoints, inquire as to whether their beliefs have changed.

Are they in agreement with their first assessment?

Do they feel more sympathy for the individual who was erroneously arguing?

Were any of these people wrong to have the opinions they did?

Here, we’re just dissecting the argument from every angle. This is so that all sides of a conflict can be understood, along with the causes and justifications behind them.

A problem can be resolved more quickly the more quickly we can comprehend both sides of it.

  1. CAREER DIRECTION TOOL
Our final practice develops the creative imagination and is enjoyable and effective. Here’s a fantastic resource that will inspire your adolescent to explore new professions and, more importantly, new passions.

We are instructed to follow a select group of well-known vocations, such as doctor, nurse, lawyer, police officer, etc., beginning in kindergarten and continuing through college.

There is nothing wrong with picking one of those jobs, but each of these main career categories also has a large number of “behind the scenes” services. Many occupations that go unnoticed by the public are truly GOLDMINES, and your child might discover that one of these obscure professions is much more suited to their personality.

Let’s start disassembling these.

Let’s make a list of TWO of your child’s close passions.
Basketball, designer clothing, gaming, exercise, etc. are some examples.

Let’s now physically doodle TWO circles on a piece of paper. Within each circle, list one passion. Now you ought to possess a piece of paper with two circles on it. One of the two passions that your child has chosen should be present in each of the circles.

Next, we’ll draw FIVE LINES originating from EACH CIRCLE.

I want you to write a career or service related to your main passion for each line.

Here are a few illustrations:

BASKETBALL

  • Basketball Trainer

Trainer, personal

-Sports Equipment Salesman

-Design for advertisements

-Cameraman for television

EXERCISING

Salesperson for gym equipment

  • Fitness trainer

-Salesperson of dietary supplements

-Gym Attendant

-Designers of athletic shoes

Of course, this process is endlessly repeatable. It’s important to be able to see past people’s first impressions. We’re assisting your teen in thinking creatively so they can find their PERFECT career.

Do your own research as well. You’ll discover careers you didn’t know existed if you look into one of these fields of employment. These unnamed professional services are intended for people who KNOW EXACTLY what they want out of life. Encourage your teen to look for that!

In conclusion, there are a variety of methods and how-to films that can encourage your teen to be the BEST VERSION of themselves. The approaches mentioned above are just four of the ones I developed to appeal to teens’ mindsets, foster creativity, and employ a cascading impact on how they will perceive things in the future.
