As someone who is very passionate about scents, I want to share with you some of the best-smelling body lotions available that also moisturize dry skin. I will share some of my top favorites with you in my blog article today.
If you have the same sense of smell as me, keep reading if you do and if you like some of these notes. I’m the kind of gal who likes fruity perfumes and sweet aromas like vanilla and the smell of pastries like cake or cupcakes.
Many stores, like Victoria’s Secret, Bath and Body Works, and Marshalls, to name a few, carry some amazing-smelling body care items, but Bath and Body Works is my favorite body care store.
Did you realize that Bath and Bodyworks and Victoria’s Secret are both licensed by the same business? (Limited Branded). They both offer enticing-smelling products, therefore I don’t understand why not. Considering how similar their products are.
I will now list my top 3 favorite body lotions for you.
Best Body Lotion Smell
1.Cake
I recently discovered the cosmetics line Cake Beauty at Marshall’s for a great price; it also makes a light lotion that I adore using. They have body washes, mists, and even whipped body cream and lotions with fantastic scents that will keep you smelling amazing all day.
Although their branding and marketing have lately changed, I still enjoy their products. However, the fragrances have changed, and I am not happy that they now sell exotic body lotions and perfumes.
I can always return to the genuine scents that they have available online. Cake products are genuinely Canadian-made, and you can get them at Shoppers Drug Mart.
The Lemon and cream fragrance is one of my favorite items in this category. Body wash, aroma spray, and body lotion are other cake goods. These items are great since they have a distinct flavor that reminds me of a lemon-cream cupcake. I talked about this body lotion in a previous blog article; you can find it here.

2.PINK! Fresh Vanilla
PINK! Fresh Vanilla I was a huge lover of the Victoria Secret PINK Brand’s previous fresh and clean body lotion until they released their new fragrance, Fresh Vanilla.
I made the decision to try something new, and I enjoy this distinctive scent, therefore I’ll choose it whenever I don’t want to smell like a cupcake all the time. Your skin will also feel like butter after using it!
PINK! Beauty is a line of lotions that PINK has introduced, dermatologist tested, with essential oils for scent. Normally, my skin is prone to breakouts, but so far, this lotion’s contents are well-liked by my skin.
To sum up, after a shower, I like to wear this lotion at night since it makes me smell like cookies.
Lotion called Victoria Secret Pure Seduction
3.Victoria Secret Pure Seduction
I’ve worn The Victoria Secret Pure seduction aroma for a long time and I still do because it’s so hard to find now that Victoria’s Secret has released their Pure Seduction perfume. Finding this scent in lotion form is very comforting.
If you like fruity perfumes, Pure Seduction may be the lotion for you. I like to wear this scent mixed with their signature Pure Seduction perfume (which I did end up locating online) when I am heading out or wearing lingerie, and guys will also enjoy this aroma.
4.Bath and Body Works Strawberry Pound Cake
Bath and Body Works Strawberry Pound Cake If you enjoy the aroma of freshly made cake, you’ll appreciate this scent. It smells nice and is similar to the cake lotion I mentioned above, and despite the fact that I LOVE cake-related things, I’m gradually becoming to like Bath and Body Works items.
I get the majority of my shower gels and hand soaps from Bath & Body Works because they have such a large selection of perfumes and I enjoy trying out new aromas in the shower.
It’s an exciting experience, and while I’ve only used their foamy hand wash, hand sanitizer, and strawberry pound cake shower gel thus far, I have plans to eventually purchase their body mist, lotion, and candle.
Given that this fragrance debuted in 2020 and that it is a relatively new product, you should give it a try if you enjoy sweet-smelling scents and baked items like dessert.
Body lotion Ahava
5.Ahava Lotion
My IPSY beauty subscription recently sent me a sample of Ahava mineral body lotion, but at first I didn’t like the smell because it was so earthy.
Then, a few weeks later, I smelled something wonderful coming from my purse, which is where I generally store my sample-sized moisturizer.
This lotion can be found at most department stores, but it is not low-grade, so if you have the money to splurge on high-end products, this product might be the right one for you. The fragrance reminds me of an opulent fragrance like Christian Dior J’adore, a very grown-up scent and a very warming scent.
From body butter to bath scrubs, Ahava carries a variety of skincare items. The lotion I received is also available in many scents.
To be more specific, the body lotion I received is called Ahava Dead Sea Water Mineral Body Lotion in the scent “Spring Blossom.” Although this lotion has a pleasant scent, one of its major benefits is that it contains a variety of dead sea minerals.
This lotion also makes me think of massage-related things you may get in a spa.
6.Victoria’s Secret Pink Paradise Bloom Scented Body Lotion
We are now returning to one of my favorite manufacturers of scented body lotion, which is also where the whole body lotion saga started.
I just recently purchased this scent after unable to locate the PINK! Even though I was disappointed that they no longer had the fresh vanilla lotion with a hint of orchid when I went to replenish on it, Victoria’s Secret still has a ton of other fantastic-smelling lotions to offer.
Did you know that Bath & Body Works and Victoria’s Secret are both owned by the same business, by the way? When you consider the range of odors each store keeps, it makes sense why they do, but Bath and Bodyworks is your best option if you’re searching for a wide selection of scents.
I’m learning that I enjoy Victoria’s Secret Pink, too! Vicotria Secret seems to target a more mature audience with their beauty goods, for whatever reason. Each to their own.
I like the perfume of the Victoria’s Secret Pink Paradise Bloom Scented Body Lotion; at first, it reminds me of drugstore lotion, but as it absorbs into your skin, the fragrance develops into a floral one and also leaves your skin nourished.
If you’re looking for a mild floral aroma with a hint of fruit, this lotion would be your best alternative. I also got the body mist because it smelled so amazing at the store when I bought it, but I don’t think I would re-buy it to be really honest.
Naturalis Rerum
7.The Rerum Natura Beauty Body Lotion
I too got this fragrance in my beauty subscription box, and I really liked it. I love perfumes a lot, which is off-topic, but I think I started like fragrances when I first discovered scented markers as a kid.
For someone seeking for an organic aroma, I would suggest the Rerum Natura Beauty body lotion because it is also organic and contains nourishing ingredients like aloe vera and shea butter.
This lotion has a scent that reminds me a lot of Carol’s Daughter Healthy Hair Butter, and I appreciate that. Carol’s Daughter Healthy Hair Butter has a lovely, natural scent, and I believe that the sweet orange extracts are what give it its distinctive aroma. Healthy hair butter also makes me think of the time I was completely natural, when I loved using it to smooth and style my natural hair.
So when I pull out the Rerum Natura body cream, it instantly takes me back to those times and makes me want to wear my hair curly once more and take care of it naturally and organically.

I’ve compiled and shared with you my top seven favorite body lotions. I have a few more, but I thought I’d start with these seven because I like sweet, pleasant scents. They range from those that smell like cupcakes to those that are fruity and sophisticated. Body lotions are a terrific way to incorporate fragrances into your everyday routine, and you can always rely on scented body lotions to liven up your standard aroma when you don’t feel like wearing perfume.
